Whether you’re buying your first home or you’re an experienced homeowner, you’ll find my process different than most other mortgage consultants. Every client goes through a well-planned mortgage program to ensure they receive a high level of customer service every step of the way.
Open communication is an important part of a successful home financing process so clients and realtors are systematically and frequently informed on a loan’s progress. Interested parties are updated at the major milestones as well as each Friday.
This stage is initiated by completing a Client Questionnaire. After completion we will have a loan consultation in person or over the phone. You will notice questions you might not typically see because your goals and objectives are important to me.
Once we have completed our consultation, selected the correct loan and collected necessary documentation, we will begin processing your application. This can be done before or after you’ve put a home under contract.
Processing is the stage where we prepare your loan for underwriting and an appraisal is ordered. We have this stage so that when your file is submitted for approval it is well organized and properly documented.
Underwriting is the process we use to determine loan approval. It involves evaluating the property, your income, assets, and credit report to determine your ability to pay the mortgage. After underwriting approval you will receive a formal loan commitment letter.
Following approval from our underwriting department, your file goes to our closing department. I work personally with my closer to ensure the closing of your loan goes smoothly and on time.
