How to Have a Seamless Home Buying Process

You know the phrase, “no news is good news?”

Well, it doesn’t really apply when you’re buying or refinancing your home.

At Wyndham Capital, our job is to make sure that your loan application and home buying process are as seamless and transparent as possible.

So let’s dive deeper into what you can expect when you work with our team.

There are two parts to our process to ensure that you’re comfortable with every step of the way: our systems and our proactive communication.

Here at Wyndham Capital, we focus on using innovative technology including automations and backend systems to make sure all of the pieces of the process are working smoothly. This also results in quicker responses.

A lot of it comes down to our digital platform. That means that the majority of the things that you're going to be doing can be done electronically. This includes signing disclosures, securely sending us documentation, and in some situations, you can even close with a hybrid closing, meaning that the majority of it is e-sign. This helps make the closing process that much smoother.

We also place a lot of focus on proactive communication because there are so many steps that go into successfully securing your mortgage. Ultimately, you want to make sure that every part of your loan application is going to be approved and you'll get the result that you want.

On average, for a 30-day closing, you'll be hearing from me and my team about a dozen different times. You're going to hear from us at each of the major milestones, all the things that you might be concerned about, and more.

We want to make sure that we're constantly communicating with you so you understand where we are in the process and what's happening next.

When you work with us, you will see that we are very accessible. You can contact us via email, phone, and even text. Proactive communication is all about doing our best to answer questions before you even think of asking them.

Additionally, with your permission, we also include other members of your team, realtors, your buying agent, and the listing agent in some of this communication.

Don't worry, we’re not giving away any of your personal secrets. This is just a form of accountability as far as where we are in the process and what's outstanding.

The reason that communication is so important to me is when I was buying my first house, I felt completely in the dark. Although there are various steps behind getting a mortgage, the process does move in an orderly fashion. If I had known that, I would have felt more positive and happy about what we were doing.

I’m really proud that previous client reviews have demonstrated that one of the most important parts of this process was having good communication and easy accessibility.

When you're working with us, you can trust us to be there with you every step of the way and to make it an enjoyable process.
