The Mortgage Mentor -Why I love being a loan officer
When I bought my first home, it was a very exciting process. But it was also a stressful one because I didn't really know what I didn't know. But I was excited to become a homeowner.
At the end of the day, I did own a home but I was a little confused about the process and felt like I had a lot of unanswered questions. Shortly after becoming a homeowner is when I actually became a loan officer myself. So essentially, I wanted to become the loan officer that I wish that I had had part of my mission of delivering a different process is making sure that you know exactly where we are as things progress. And that looks like constant communication that explains these complex concepts in very clear language. So you can feel confident about the choices that you're making about your home. You feel that it is transparent and accountable to you.
For over 19 years, this is what I've done and I love doing it because it's kind of like solving a Rubik's Cube. They're all these pieces and parts and it's my job to help them make sense. And part of that is listening to what your goals are, and where you are and where you want to be. Now, why I love being a loan officer is, it's really a perfect balance of left brain analysis and then right brain creativity. And in the middle of all of it, I really get the chance to get to know my clients and see how things have changed in their life throughout the years. That's really exciting for me because home is so important. Home is where you make your memories and being able to play a small role in that is really such a gift to me.
At its simplest, my job as a loan officer is to help you navigate the mortgage process to understand what options are available to you and translating industry jargon into everyday language so you can feel confident about the choices that you're making. Beyond making memories in your home, another part that I love about what I'm here to do is to help you build wealth, help you harness the power of real estate ownership and build towards long term financial goals.
My name is Rebecca Richardson and as your mortgage consultant, I am here to help you reach your homeownership goals. Please reach out with any questions because if it's important to you, it's important to me.
